Version 1.0.1 │ July 2026
This Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explains how Interpretive Health, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares consumer health data through the Nucora mobile application and website, and the rights you have with respect to that data. It is provided as required by the Washington My Health My Data Act (ch. 19.373 RCW) and Nevada consumer health data law (NRS 603A.400–603A.550), and it applies to consumers whose consumer health data is subject to those laws.
1. Consumer Health Data We Collect and Why
“Consumer health data” means personal information that is linked or reasonably linkable to you and that identifies your past, present, or future physical or mental health status. Nucora is a personal health and wellness platform, so most of the data we collect is consumer health data. The categories we collect are:
- Health history, wellness goals, and health background you provide (including medical conditions, past surgeries, allergies, stress and wellbeing, and family medical history)
- Diet and nutrition information, including food logs and lifestyle information you record (such as alcohol, tobacco or nicotine, and other substance use)
- Supplement intake
- Wearable and device measurements (activity, workouts, sleep, heart rate and heart-rate variability, stress, respiration, pulse ox, skin temperature, blood pressure, body composition, audio-exposure levels)
- Laboratory results you provide (blood and urine biomarkers)
- Gut microbiome test results
- Epigenetic data (blood-based DNA methylation and biological age)
- Reproductive and menstrual health data (menstrual status, period dates and flow duration you log, and cycle data from connected devices, including cycle-phase and fertile-window information and pregnancy status where your device provides them, and cycle-phase estimates we derive; Nucora does not itself predict fertility, ovulation, or pregnancy)
- Bodily measurements (height, weight, sex used for reference-range calculations) and ethnicity (a response is required to complete profile setup; “Prefer not to say” is available)
- Information about your health status contained in free text you provide (chat messages, diary entries, symptom logs, notes, and questions you submit with an analysis)
- Usage information that could identify your interest in health topics (features used and screens viewed in the app)
Purposes. We collect and use consumer health data to provide the products and services you request: your dashboards and trend displays, AI-generated analyses, chat responses, daily briefings, reports, and podcast episodes; to keep your account secure and prevent fraud; to fix errors and improve the accuracy and quality of the outputs we generate for you; to recognize when a chat message may indicate a safety crisis so we can surface crisis-support resources; and to comply with law. We do not use your consumer health data for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models (ours or anyone else’s).
2. Sources of Consumer Health Data
- You (information you enter in the app, upload as documents, or write in free text)
- Third-party platforms and devices you choose to connect: Apple Health, Garmin Connect, Oura, Withings, Google Health (Fitbit), Cronometer, and Hevy
- Documents and results you provide from BodySpec or other DEXA providers, Function Health, Blueprint Speed of Aging, TinyHealth, TruDiagnostic, and Viome
- Data we derive from the above (for example, trends, comparisons, and cycle-phase estimates)
3. Consumer Health Data We Share, and With Whom
We do not sell consumer health data, and we do not share it for advertising. We share consumer health data only with service providers acting on our behalf under contracts that restrict their use of the data to providing services to us, and as necessary to provide the services you request. The categories of third parties (service providers) that may process consumer health data are:
- Cloud infrastructure and storage providers — Amazon Web Services (hosting, storage, and delivery of service emails)
- AI processing providers — OpenAI (analysis and content generation) and Google Cloud AI services (podcast audio generation via text-to-speech)
- Support communications provider — Google Workspace (support mailbox)
Connected data-source platforms (such as Cronometer, Garmin, and the other sources listed in Section 2) send data to Nucora at your direction; we do not disclose your consumer health data to them beyond what is needed to maintain the connection. Service providers that support app operations — Stripe (payments), OneSignal (push-notification delivery), and Sentry (crash and error reporting) — are not sent your health records or measurements; they receive only the limited operational and diagnostic data described in our Privacy Policy.
We may also disclose consumer health data when required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the safety of our users or the public.
Corporate affiliates. Interpretive Health, LLC has no corporate affiliates with whom consumer health data is shared. (This is distinct from the affiliate marketing links described below.)
Affiliate marketing links. Nucora’s Store and website contain affiliate marketing links. These do not transmit your consumer health data. Clicking an affiliate link sends only an affiliate tracking token identifying Nucora as the referrer; the destination merchant and network handle any data they collect under their own policies.
4. How We Collect Your Consent
We collect consumer health data with your consent or as necessary to provide a product or service you have requested. Connecting a data source, uploading a document, or entering information in the app is your request for us to collect and use that data to provide Nucora’s features. Before Nucora’s AI features generate content from your data, we obtain your explicit in-app consent, which you can withdraw at any time in Settings. We do not share consumer health data with third parties beyond the service providers described above; if we ever proposed to, we would first request your separate consent. We will not collect new categories of consumer health data, or use your consumer health data for new purposes, without first updating this policy and obtaining any consent required by law.
5. Your Rights
If you are a Washington or Nevada consumer, you have the right to:
- Confirm and access: confirm whether we are collecting, sharing, or selling your consumer health data, and access it, including a list of the third parties with whom we have shared it and a way to contact them
- Withdraw consent: withdraw your consent to our collection and sharing of your consumer health data
- Delete: have your consumer health data deleted, including from archived and backup systems. We complete deletion from our active systems within 30 days of authenticating your request, and residual copies in backups are purged as backups rotate — and in any event within the timelines required by applicable law (no later than six months for Washington consumers under RCW 19.373.040; no later than two years for backup systems for Nevada consumers under NRS 603A.515). We also instruct our service providers to delete your data.
6. How to Exercise Your Rights
Submit requests by emailing support@nucora.ai (for deletion requests, “Delete My Data” in the subject line helps us route your request), or through your account settings. You may also delete your account directly in the app at any time. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request; if we cannot verify your identity using commercially reasonable efforts, we may ask you for additional information or be unable to comply. We will respond within 45 days of receiving a verifiable request. Where reasonably necessary, we may extend this period by an additional 45 days, in which case we will notify you of the extension and the reason within the initial 45-day period. Exercising your rights is free of charge up to twice per year.
7. Appeals
If we decline to take action on your request, you may appeal by replying to our response or emailing support@nucora.ai with “Appeal” in the subject line. We will respond to your appeal in writing within 45 days, with an explanation of our reasons. If your appeal is denied and you are a Washington consumer, you may contact the Washington Attorney General to file a complaint at https://www.atg.wa.gov/file-complaint. Nevada consumers may contact the Nevada Attorney General’s Bureau of Consumer Protection.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy at this link and update the effective date below; material changes will also be announced in the app and by email to your registered address, and any new categories of collection or new purposes will take effect only after the notice and consent required by law.
