Nucora FAQs
How does Nucora actually analyze my data?
Three things.
Accuracy. In our formal validation study, 846 health data values were verified with zero confirmed errors, and the 95% confidence interval puts the ceiling on the hallucination rate below 0.44%. Key figures in a report are automatically checked against the analysis they came from, and anything that does not match is flagged for human review. The check confirms a number was carried through faithfully. It does not cover every number in a report, and it is not a check of medical accuracy.
Depth. Nucora ingests structured data from thirteen sources across eleven health domains and runs them through domain-specific computation engines with a two-pass analyst architecture. The synthesis follows a defined, repeatable pipeline.
Memory. Nucora remembers your profile, your goals, and your prior analyses, so each new report builds on the last.
How is my data stored and protected?
Your health data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and protected in transit with TLS 1.2 or higher — the same standards used by financial institutions and healthcare systems. The platform runs on AWS infrastructure with Virtual Private Cloud isolation, network access controls, and infrastructure logging. Your data is used exclusively for your personal analysis — never sold, never shared with advertisers, never used to train general AI models. When third-party processing is required, your data is deleted by that third party once your analysis is complete. Nucora is built to comply with CCPA and the California AI Transparency Act (SB 942). You can request account deletion at any time. Full details are in the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, both attorney-reviewed and available at sign-up.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes, and you don’t need to email anyone. Export your data, delete your account, review or withdraw AI-processing consent, and lock the app behind Face ID, all from Settings inside the app.
Is this medical advice?
No. Nucora is a wellness and fitness tool, not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, mitigate, or monitor any disease or medical condition. Every report uses recommendation language, never prescription or diagnosis. Findings are framed as data-informed observations, not diagnoses, and you are explicitly directed to discuss results with your healthcare provider for clinical guidance. When your results fall outside a typical reference range, the platform points you to a provider conversation, with the specific numbers and questions to bring. Nucora makes you a better-informed participant in your own health. It does not replace your doctor.
What if I only connect a few sources?
Nucora works with whatever data you have. Most users start with a wearable and a blood panel, and insights grow as you add more sources, but you only need one to begin. The platform analyzes what is available and explicitly tells you which additional sources would most improve your next analysis, and why. For example, a real report might note that connecting a wearable would materially improve confidence in your future aging reads. Start with what you have. The platform tells you what to add and what it would unlock.
My Garmin and my Oura disagree. Which one is right?
They measure differently, and both readings are real. Nucora shows you both, side by side on the same chart, and builds each day’s record from the device you chose for that measurement. If you prefer one device for a given measurement, you can set that in Settings, and Nucora leads with your pick, filling in from your other devices only on days it has no reading. You get the disagreement, the answer, and the final say.
How does Nucora know my maintenance calories?
It works from your own data. Standard formulas are the starting point, but Nucora also reads your wearable’s measured burn, computes your metabolism from your DEXA lean mass, and back-calculates your maintenance from how your weight actually responds to your logged intake. You can see every method compared side by side in the app, along with the basis and confidence behind the number you’re shown. If your data is too thin for an honest answer, Nucora says so rather than inventing one.
Is this just for men?
No. Nucora is validated against both male and female datasets. The platform includes an opt-in Cycle domain that surfaces your cycle phase, day, and length as observational context alongside your other data, with more cycle-aware analysis planned during the beta. The platform uses sex-specific reference ranges for biomarkers and produces genuinely different insights based on each user’s physiology. Nucora uses sex-specific reference ranges and produces different findings, hypotheses, and experiments depending on the individual physiology. It produces different findings, different hypotheses, and different experiments based on her specific biology.
How long before I get results?
Dashboards populate as soon as your data lands, and you can run your first Deep Dive right away: pick a focus and the report is generated on demand, with the option to add a podcast episode and full transcript. From there the analysis compounds, because every report remembers what the last one told you.
Can I see a sample before I join?
The website features real examples from production outputs, specific findings, specific numbers, actual quotes from real reports and podcast episodes. All examples on this site come from verified Nucora outputs, not mockups. The findings on our home page are built directly from real production reports; every number in them is unchanged from the source data.
What does it cost?
